Internationally there is an established practice of "Swim between the Red and Yellow flags". Under this system there are 2 red and yellow flags erected at the safest swimming location along the beach, this is designated as a "Patrolled" area and the attending lifeguards specifically concentrate on that area. There is an old saying, "If we can't see you we can't save you" If there are Red and Yellow flags erected, please swim between them, for your own safety.
